libltc11 software package provides linear timecode library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libltc11
libltc11 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libltc11 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libltc11 *
You will get with libltc11 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
